#3 Diversity in Skin Tone Last week, we talked about "Comfy" and introduce its best illustration--Bralette. This week, we are going to take further discussion about the concept "Diversity". For quite a long time, when our customers mentioned NUDE color, it is naturally considered to be a light Caucasian skin tone--beige. However, it is not the case any more. Along with broader awareness of [Diversity", social medias promoted a New Neutrals campaign last year. Accordingly, lingerie brands are taking various skin tones into their collections. We also met quite a few new design teams interested in applying darker skin tones to their designs. But to be honest, it is not an easy job from manufacturer` views, especially when you can only start at small quantity. First, now we will need much more [NUDE" shades--chocolate, cafe, cinnamon, caramel, berry and so on. Even though you just choose 3-4 for your specific markets, the MOQ for dyeing is already huge burden for beginners. Luckily, we have a stock of different fabrics that may meet your needs. If you order these colors from us, using our at stock material, you can still begin fron 100pcs! Secondly, as I mentioned in last articles, it is always difficult to begin with padded cup bras, as there too many cup sizes. So we suggest to begin with knickers and also bralettes or tank tops like below. Otherwise, if you already have mature distribution channels and can afford much higher MOQ like 1000-3000pcs. We are also happy to introduce some styles that are hot seller among our customers, like seamless bra sets coming in chocolate, beige, brown.

Nowadays, no one can deny that "Comfy" & "Diversity" are already keywords of lingerie products, and undoubtedly this trend will continue in the coming future, along with the awareness of "Every body is beautiful". In the past years, the best design to illustrate "Comfy" must be bralette, which is soft, light and breathable. No push-up, no wire, you are just beautiful as you are. More and more lingerie brands are embracing bralettes into their collections. Chantilly Lace has a different weaving way from normal laces, so the flower pattern is far more fascinating and elegant than the other. Still, there are some other features we need to take into consideration, when using on actual production. Below is the advice from Manufacture side: #1 The most important feature of Chantilly lace, is its elasticity Well, as you may know, it is rigid. And this restricts the part that we can use on underwear, which require certain elasticity. So we recommend to use this lace only on bra cup, or some decoration part, but not the wings or back part of bottoms. For bra wings and bottoms, we always suggest to use some fabric with great elasticity, like mesh, cotton or micro. #2 Chantilly Lace is not a roll of consecutive lace, instead, it is separated by pieces, and each piece is only around 2-3 meters long. This means much higher wastage rate at production, so the cost is high. Thatis why you rarely see this on mass markets. But why we still recommend this costly material? Because we believe its exclusiveness is exactly the best way to promote uniqueness of your brand. And the good news is, for most patterns, we have black and white version in stock, which means: 1 You can order small quantity as a try. 2 You can save extra dyeing fee. 3 You can save the time for dyeing. All these is a compensation for the price you pay! #3 Bralette is a good try for starter. Finally, we would like to go back to bralette itself. We met many new design teams, who have big difficulty about MOQ for styles like bra. Unlike bottom, bras can come to many many more different sizes, and each size will normally need certain MOQ. For example, if you want to make 4 band widths 32-34-36-38, and 4 cups B-C-D-E, there will be 16 sizes, so the order quantity will be at least 60*50pcs MOQ/size==3000pcs! It is actually the MOQ that most factories ask for bras, which results in a large SKU and become huge burden for starters. Luckily, for bralettes, this is much easier. Cup sizes are no longer important here and we can just make from XS-S-M-L-XL. And with the help from some manufacturer like us, you can start at 200-300pcs per design! It is 90% less than bra with wires and cups!

Underwear with brand name on elastic band is often seen for men styles like men boxers or tights. It is a good way to emphasize the brand and make a difference between simple designs. Now some lingerie brands also use this to stress the uniqueness. And I believe the most outstanding brand is Lounge Underwear. They employ elastic brand with logos on the lace bra thong sets, or cotton triangle bra thong sets, which is feminine and impressive at the same time. And below I am providing some ideas from manufacturing fields, hope that you can choose the most suitable fabric, material and suppliers after reading. #1 Always choose WOVEN LOGO elastic band, instead of print logo. Because the print logo will easily break when stretching, especially the low quality printing method. Though MOQ for woven elastic band is usually much higher than printed, and also printed ones are lower at costs, still it is not a good idea! After all, you are putting your brand name on it! We have to find something of supreme quality and last long, right? If you have difficulty to find the elastic band suppliers at small MOQ, welcome to come to us, we have the sources to help you begin your styles at 100-300 pcs. #2 Always choose suppliers with nice workmanship and clean seams. The styles with logo bands, are mostly simple designs, no extra accessories. This is wise as BRAND is the most important thing to underline here. Obviously, seams and stitching become the first thing that consumers pick on, as long as they get the product in person. All brands have only one time to demonstrate its quality standard to new customers, so don`t mess it up!!! #3 You can be bold when choosing the fabric! Most the styles seen in market are made by strechable cotton, it is comfy and classic for sure. But actually, we have more eco-friendly fabric to choose. For instance, modal, modal mixed with cotton or the hot seller in summer--bamboo!!! The are all natural and extremely soft and absorbent when wearing inside. Isn`t is a better idea to use something novel and more comfy for your new styles, than just follow the same as others? We have all the above kind of fabric at stock, and various colors for choosing, so even you just start from 100 sets, you still have multiple choices!
